Reporting to the VMU Manager, the VMU Administrator plays a crucial role in the day-to-day coordination of workshop administration. They act as a key point of contact between technicians, suppliers, and customers, ensuring smooth processes, accurate invoicing, and excellent service.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30

Salary: £27,560 per annum

Key responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, investigate any issues and resolve invoice queries.
  • Update trailer compliance with outstanding vehicles.
  • Update all necessary trackers to ensure compliance.
  • Raise and process Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain and run reports to cross charge the customer.
  • Schedule trailers and network planners.
  • Liaise with the fleet to align service schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant documentation.
  • General administrative duties and support the workshop team with day to day tasks.
  • Cover for the Workshop Team Manager for holidays and on an adhoc basis.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good eye for detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Great organisation and time-management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office and Excel.
  • Previous experience with fleet maintenance would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a high pressured, fast paced environment.
