We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented Transport Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating efficient, compliant, and customer‑focused transport plans that maximise resource utilisation while meeting operational and legal requirements.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off days, 06:00-18:00

Salary: Up to £32,000 Per Annum.

Key Duties of a Transport Scheduler:

  • Work with Transport and Warehouse teams, to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS.
  • Assemble more than 400 consolidated orders into loads every 24 hours.
  • Subcontract and plan orders from multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
  • Plan the daily workload of the fleet: vehicles based on site and outbases.
  • Report problems and deal with issues and any queries that may arise.
  • Plan approximately 100 collections per day on a time‑critical basis.
  • Maintain and exceed agreed KPIs.
  • Proactively seek continuous improvements.
  • Make decisions under pressure and within tight timescales.
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
  • Efficiently utilise the Culina Group network in support of Stobart when volumes dictate.

Qualifications:

  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience of planning units across multiple depots.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
  • Customer focus on delivery performance.
  • Commercially and financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results.
  • Experience of using a TMS system.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical and Excel capability across standard formulas.
