Job Description: Stobarts are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our depot in Doncaster supporting Asda, one of the UK's largest supermarket retailers. This role is primarily trunking to and from Distribution Centres; however, there will be a requirement to support General Haulage activities as and when needed, including Warehouse and Store deliveries, and supporting the wider Stobarts network.
The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis, with ideal shift patterns available on Days below:
- Sunday to Thursday Days
- Tuesday to Saturday Days
- Wednesday to Sunday Days
Shifts typically start between 08:00 - 11:00. We offer flexibility in shift patterns, so if these start dates and times don't quite suit your availability, let us know what you're looking for, we'll do our best to accommodate your preferences.
We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £15.15 to £18.96 per hour, depending on shift, giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us:
- Mon-Fri Days - £15.15 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.15 per hour
- Bank Holidays - £18.96 per hour
On top of base salary, our HGV Drivers will be entitled to a £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance. Trunking runs between distribution centres from Doncaster depot, supporting general work, including occasional store deliveries and general work supporting the network. Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card, with a minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
