Job Description: As a Transport Administrator, you will be working alongside the transport team responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support. Responsibilities include:
- Checking-in and checking-out registration of drivers.
- Dispatching drivers and completing key documentation.
- Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork.
- Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required.
- Ensuring the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system.
- Monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
- Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering the site, when required.
- Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes.
- Ensuring manning levels are updated & correct.
- Internal reporting duties.
- Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement.
- Transport System management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within an administration role.
- Knowledge within a Transport and Logistics environment would be desirable but not essential.
- Able to work under pressure within a busy environment.
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS packages - Word and Excel etc.
