We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our depot in Carlisle to support our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. What You'll Be Doing General haulage operations using curtain-side trailers Delivering to RDCs, distribution centres and retail stores across the region Store collections for delivery to factories and distribution centres Occasional loading and unloading of cages as part of store delivery activities Completing daily vehicle checks and transport documentation Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism Working closely with the Transport Team to ensure efficient service delivery Adhering to Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation at all times Pay Rates Day Shift Rates Monday to Friday Days -
