Job Description: We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us, working out of the Morrisons RDC in Bellshill, to support our Rail Container operations, transporting shipping containers from railheads and terminals to customer sites throughout Cumbria and Scotland. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and due to Rail timetables require a 05:00/06:00am start for Days and 17:00/18:00pm start for Nights.

We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour, depending on shift giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us:

  • Mon-Fri Days - £14.60 per hour
  • Mon-Fri Night Shift - £15.80 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.60 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.10 per hour
  • Bank Holidays - £18.41 per hour

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance, and £25 per night out tax-free allowance (if applicable).

Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.

You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
