Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Teesport (Middlesbrough). The role is based on a Tesco site in Teesport and involves customer deliveries around the UK, including to Stores, RDCs, and Warehouses, with some manual handling possible.

Shifts:

  • Thursday-Monday 02:00am
  • Friday-Tuesday 04:00am

Salary:

  • Monday-Friday Days - £14.00/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Monday-Friday Nights - £15.30/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Saturday and Sunday Day - £17.00/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Saturday and Sunday Night - £17.50/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Bank Holiday - £17.81/hour (including meal allowance)

Qualifications:

  • Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, current DCPC & Tacho card
  • Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience, preferably store work
  • No more than 6 points, no DD/DR convictions
  • Knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD legislation
  • Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects
  • Compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
