Job Description

As a Transport Administrator you will be working alongside the transport team responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support. Responsibilities include:

  • Checking-in and checking-out registration of drivers
  • Dispatching drivers and completing key documentation
  • Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork
  • Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required
  • Ensuring the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system
  • Monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers
  • Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required
  • Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes
  • Ensuring manning levels are updated & correct
  • Internal reporting duties
  • Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within an administration role
  • Knowledge within a Transport and Logistics environment would be desirable but not essential
  • Able to work under pressure within a busy environment
  • Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS packages - Word and Excel etc
