Job Description
Eddie Stobartare currently looking forHGV Class 1 Driversto join their growing team in
Teesport (Middlesborough).
The role is based on a Tesco site in Teesport and will involve customer deliveries around the UK including delivering to Stores, RDC\’s, Warehouses and may involve some manual handling.
Shifts:
- Tuesday-Saturday 02:00am.
- Wednesday-Sunday 16:00pm.
Rates of Pay:
- Monday-Friday Days – £14.00per hour (including meal allowance)
- Monday-Friday Night – £15.30 per hour(including meal allowance)
- Saturday and Sunday Day – £17.00 per hour(including meal allowance)
- Saturday and Sunday Night – £17.50 per hour(including meal allowance)
- Bank Holiday – £17.81 per hour(including meal allowance)
Qualifications
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho card.
- A minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience, preferably Store work.
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
