Stobart's are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Bridgewater. The role is based on a Morrisons site in Bridgewater (TA6 4FG) and will involve store deliveries, RDCs, warehouses, trunking, general haulage, and may involve manual handling, drop and swaps, and supporting the wider Stobart and Culina network when required.
Shifts:
- Friday-Monday 13:30 start.
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday - 14:00 start.
- Sunday-Wednesday 15:00 start.
- Thursday-Monday 16:00 start.
- Friday-Monday 18:00 start.
- Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday - 18:00 start.
Salary:
- Monday-Friday Days - £14.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
- Monday-Friday Nights - £15.80/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Days - £17.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Nights - £18.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
- Bank Holidays - £18.31/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of HGV Class 1 experience.
- Valid C+E Licence, DCPC, and Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD/DR convictions.
- Understanding and compliance with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects.
- Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
