A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day to day challenges in providing an effective transport plan.Working on a shift pattern of Monday to Friday nights, 18.00-04.00Key Duties of a Night Transport Planner:Work with Transport and Warehouse teams, to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMSSubcontracting and planning orders from multiple sites across the UKPlanning daily workload of fleet: vehicles based on site and out basesReporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that may arisePlanning collections per day on a time critical basisMaintaining and exceeding agreed KPIsProactively look for continuous improvementsBe able to make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescaleHave a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business particularly at peak periods during the yearEfficiently utilise the Culina Group network in support Stobarts when volumes dictate.Qualifications Previous Transport Planning experienceGood geographical knowledge of the UKProficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and OutlookCPC Desirable but not requiredExperience of planning 100+ tractor units across multiple depotsExcellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environmentCustomer focus on delivery performanceCommercially and Financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results.Experience of using a TMS systemExperience in an FMCG environmentStrong analytical and excel capability across standard formulasAdditional Information As part of our drive to make Stobarta great place to work.
