Job Description: We have an exciting new opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our friendly team in Bridgwater. As a Transport Administrator, you will be working alongside the transport team responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support. Responsibilities include:
- Checking-in and checking-out registration of drivers
- Dispatching drivers and completing key documentation
- Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork
- Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required
- Ensuring the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system
- Monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers
- Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required
- Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes
- Ensuring manning levels are updated & correct
- Internal reporting duties
- Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement
- Transport System management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within an administration role
- Knowledge within a Transport and Logistics environment would be desirable but not essential
- Able to work under pressure within a busy environment
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS packages - Word and Excel etc.
