We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our operations at Morrisons RDC in Bridgwater to support our General Haulage operations. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and dependable delivery standards. The roles are full-time and permanent, with opportunities available across both Days and Nights.

Current shift patterns include:

  • Day and Night shifts available
  • Flexible start times across the week

We have recently increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £18.05 to £32.49 per hour, depending on shift and overtime, giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday Days: £18.05 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights: £21.66 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Days: £19.86 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Nights: £23.47 per hour

Overtime Rates:

  • Monday to Friday Days: £27.08 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights: £30.69 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Days: £28.88 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday Nights: £32.49 per hour

Responsibilities include:

  • General Haulage using curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores
  • Collections from stores for delivery back into Distribution Centres
  • Supporting general operational requirements, including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading of cages
  • Trunking opportunities available, subject to operational requirements
  • Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers).
