Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is a leading ambient transport and logistics business, providing services to many of the UK's best known brands across core consumer and retail sectors.
We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our customer site Unilever in Leeds, for our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.
The role is full time, working on a permanent basis and will be working on a 4 ON 4 OFF shift pattern with opportunities working Days and Nights:
- Day Shift between 06:00 and 18:00
- Night Shift between 18:00 and 06:00
We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £15.15 to £18.96 per hour, depending on shift:
- Mon-Fri Days - £15.15 per hour
- Mon-Fri Nights - £16.35 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Nights - £18.65 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.15 per hour
- Bank Holidays - £18.96 per hour
On top of base salary, our HGV Drivers will be entitled to a £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance.
General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and Stores, supporting general work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load and unload cages. Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
