Stoarra is a wholesale broker specialising in independent mid-market and luxury brands. We match selected brands to clients ranging from traditional department stores to digital and physical concept stores, pop-up project buyers, and cross-collaborational operations such as interior and events designers. We are currently rebuilding our online directory and wholesale brokerage platform to integrate into Shopify. In the meantime, we will be focusing on physical retail and consultation contract opportunities.

To welcome our newest clients onto our books, highlight the desirability of their product, and demonstrate our ability to drive sales in an innovative fashion, we will be conducting a series of pop-up activations; the first of which will be in Edinburgh on Thistle Street from the 15th to 30th of June.

Role

Our pop-up will be open from 10:30am to 4pm each day. Staff will be required to arrive no later than 10am to support store opening. During opening hours, each member of staff will support sales, contributing to our customer journey and ensuring adequate upsell and cross-selling techniques are deployed to capitalise on each opportunity presented.

At the end of your employment, you may be invited to participate in future pop-ups with upward mobility and additional skills advancement offered. You will receive a performance review concluding your short-term contract with the opportunity to identify desirable offers for future employment to ensure that we are able to craft a reference suited to your job search needs.

Experience

Previous experience in retail is required. Shopify POS is preferable.

Location

Thistle Street, Edinburgh. This is an IN-PERSON role; if you are a remote candidate or cannot regularly travel to Edinburgh, please do not apply.

Availability

Candidates must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays for the duration of the pop-up.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is £13 per hour to be paid in arrears via PAYE.
