Position Description
- Carry out incoming quality checks on packaging and raw materials
- Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
- Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately
- Manage their quality assurance division and ensure all employees meet their required quotas
- Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines
- Ensure production/packing records completed properly & collate with QC records
- Verification of CCPs and verification signature when records complete
- Assist with issues and resolution/investigation (foreign bodies, hold stock)
- Guidance of factory personnel to improve quality and reduce risks
Experience
- 2 years of quality assurance experience an asset.
Qualifications
- Understanding of food safety and QA procedures
- Understanding of HACCP
Education
- Any related education in food manufacturing is an asset.
