The predicted salary is between 4000 - 6000 Β£ per month.
This is a position that will cover the current Engineering Manager while they are on leave. The length of the contract is between 2-3 months. This role has a great shift pattern Monday to Friday days. They have a family-like environment and will truly make you feel part of their well-oiled team.
Position Description
- Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel. You need to be able to effectively communicate instructions while leading the team to meet their goals.
- Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees and schedules simultaneously.
- Monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals.
- Monthly reporting of departmental metrics.
- Promote and enforce a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with applicable legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate all engineering changes and approvals to meet customer deadlines.
- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Experience
- Experience in managing teams of engineers.
- Experience working in a food environment as a manager.
Qualifications
- Having HND or HNC certifications.
Education
- Degree or education related to Engineering.
