Stoa is building a new category where savings power spending. We are looking for a high-energy, highly creative Social Media, Content & Growth Manager to help us grow Stoa across customer, merchant and partner channels. This is not a role for someone who simply manages a content calendar. We want someone who brings bold ideas, moves fast, tests constantly, and knows how to make a new fintech proposition stand out in a crowded market. The right person will be hands-on across social media, content creation, email campaigns, newsletters, blogs, events, growth experiments and guerrilla marketing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Growth strategy: Develop and execute growth strategies across social media, email, blogs, SEO, events, influencers and emerging AI search channels. Create fresh growth hacking and guerrilla marketing ideas to help Stoa acquire customers, increase deposits and attract merchant interest. Turn Stoa's core idea β€” savings powering spending β€” into simple, memorable campaigns that customers, merchants and partners can understand. Identify new content angles, campaign themes and distribution tactics that help Stoa cut through.
  • Social media: Create, schedule and post content across Stoa's key channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X. Post consistently across priority platforms, with a target of two posts per day where relevant. Develop founder-led content, product explainers, short videos, carousels, polls, customer education posts, merchant stories and campaign assets. Track performance and improve content based on reach, engagement, leads, sign-ups and conversion. Stay close to trends, formats and platform changes so Stoa's content feels fresh and relevant.
  • Email, newsletters and campaigns: Create and manage email campaigns for customers, merchants and partners. Write and schedule newsletters that educate, engage and convert. Support lifecycle campaigns across onboarding, activation, reactivation, referrals, merchant offers and product updates. Test subject lines, messaging, segments and calls to action.
  • Blogs, SEO and AI search: Create blog ideas and content plans that improve Stoa's discoverability. Write or coordinate content around savings behaviour, deposits, perks, SMEs, subscriptions, merchant benefits and financial habits. Help Stoa show up clearly on Google and AI search tools by creating useful, searchable content.
  • Events: Plan and run one weekly event to educate merchants, partners and potential customers. Events may include webinars, founder sessions, merchant briefings, live demos, partner showcases, roundtables or small in-person sessions. Own the event process from idea to invitation, promotion, attendance, follow-up and reporting. Use events as a growth channel, not just a marketing activity.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on social media, email, content, events and campaign performance. Track key metrics including reach, engagement, leads, sign-ups, deposits, event attendance, merchant interest and conversion. Recommend what to double down on, what to stop, and what to test next.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone who is highly creative, hands-on and full of growth ideas.
  • You should be confident creating content, writing copy, posting, scheduling, running campaigns and reporting on performance.
  • You should understand that content and events are not just for awareness; they need to help drive customers, deposits, merchant interest and revenue.
  • We are looking for someone who can make financial ideas simple, human and engaging.
  • You should be comfortable with fast-moving startup work, guerrilla marketing, low-cost growth tactics and constant experimentation.
  • Experience across social media, email marketing, newsletters, blogs, events, influencers, SEO, analytics, CRM tools, content scheduling tools, AI tools and basic video editing would be valuable.
  • Interest in fashion, culture and social media trends would be a bonus.

Ideal background:

  • You may have worked in social media, growth, content, events, community, startups, fintech, consumer apps, agencies, creator marketing or performance-led marketing.
  • What matters most is that you can think creatively, execute quickly, measure properly and bring new ideas every week.

Why this role matters:

Stoa is not trying to be another savings app or rate-comparison product. We are creating a new behaviour: helping people use their deposits to unlock useful upfront perks from brands they already value. This role is about getting that message into the market through content, campaigns, newsletters, blogs, events, influencers, SEO, AI search and smart growth experiments.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Equity / ESOP
  • Pension
  • 30 days holiday
  • Hybrid working (office in central London)
  • Opportunity to help grow a category-defining fintech from an early stage

How to apply:

If you have read this far and still feel excited, we would love to hear from you. To jump the queue, show us your proactiveness: send a short LinkedIn message directly to Mike Saraswat, CEO & Co-Founder of Stoa, with your answer to this question: Tell us about one unconventional growth idea, campaign or event you have created, or would love to create, and how it could drive real customer growth, not just likes. Keep it short, sharp and specific. We are not looking for perfect CVs. We are looking for people who think differently and can make things happen.
