Stoa Recruitment are recruiting a PDI Technician for a fleet preparation centre in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a PDI Technician who takes quality seriously and wants a role with a genuine future attached to it. Monday to Friday throughout, no weekends, no bank holidays.

The Role

As a PDI Technician you will process vehicles through structured PDI checklists at a busy fleet prep centre before they reach the end customer. High-volume, process-driven work - the standard is consistent, the expectation is consistent, and the right PDI Technician thrives in that environment. Every vehicle that leaves carries a standard. You will be the one signing it off. Perform well and a permanent offer follows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out full pre-delivery inspections on fleet vehicles to manufacturer and client checklists
  • Identify, record, and escalate mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic faults accurately every time
  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments within your qualification scope ahead of vehicle release
  • Fit accessories and prepare vehicles to the required handover standard
  • Maintain accurate job cards, inspection records, and compliance documentation on every vehicle
  • Keep your bay clean, organised, and health and safety compliant throughout every shift

What We're Looking For

Must have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK Category B driving licence

Nice to have:

  • Previous PDI, prep, or fleet technician experience
  • Own tools
