The Role:

Stoa Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver (Category C / HGV 2 / LGV C) based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a local delivery role with 08:00 starts. No nights out. No long-distance trunking. You will complete scheduled drops within Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas and return to site once finished. Finish time is when deliveries are completed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Driving a Class 2 (HGV 2 / LGV C) vehicle
  • Completing local multi-drop deliveries
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Representing the company professionally at delivery points
  • Following all road safety and compliance regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid CPC qualification
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, IN or DD offences)
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
