Job Description: Stoa Recruitment are recruiting three HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established global logistics operation based in Wolverhampton, a family-owned business with over 20 years in the industry. Three positions are available, the work is ongoing, and the start is immediate.

The Role: As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be operating flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs out of Wolverhampton. Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00, shifts of 12 to 15 hours. Before your first shift, you will complete a paid onsite health and safety induction; you are earning from the moment you arrive on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Class 1 flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs from Wolverhampton
  • Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00, 12 to 15 hour shifts
  • Load, secure, and deliver to the required standard on every run
  • Complete pre and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain accurate tachograph records
  • Complete a paid onsite health and safety induction before commencing driving duties
  • Represent yourself and Stoa professionally at the client depot at all times

What We're Looking For:

Must have:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 licence
  • Valid Driver CPC card
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Proven flatbed and curtain side experience
  • Clean or near-clean licence
  • Comfortable with 04:00 - 06:00 starts and 12 - 15 hour shifts

  • Previous UK trunking or general haulage experience
