Stoa Recruitment are recruiting three HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established global logistics operation based in Wolverhampton, a family-owned business with over 20 years in the industry. Three positions are available, the work is ongoing, and the start is immediate.
The Role
- As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be operating flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs out of Wolverhampton.
- Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00, shifts of 12 to 15 hours.
- Before your first shift you will complete a paid onsite health and safety induction.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1 flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs from Wolverhampton.
- Load, secure, and deliver to the required standard on every run.
- Complete pre and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain accurate tachograph records.
- Represent yourself and Stoa professionally at the client depot at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Must have:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
- Valid Driver CPC card.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Proven flatbed and curtain side experience.
- Clean or near-clean licence.
- Comfortable with 04:00-06:00 starts and 12-15 hour shifts.
- Nice to have:
- Previous UK trunking or general haulage experience.
