Job Description: Stoa Recruitment are recruiting three HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established global logistics operation based in Wolverhampton, a family-owned business with over 20 years in the industry. Three positions are available, the work is ongoing, and the start is immediate.
The Role: As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be operating flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs out of Wolverhampton. Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00, shifts of 12 to 15 hours. Before your first shift, you will complete a paid onsite health and safety induction; you are earning from the moment you arrive on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Class 1 flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs from Wolverhampton
- Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00, 12 to 15 hour shifts
- Load, secure, and deliver to the required standard on every run
- Complete pre and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain accurate tachograph records
- Complete a paid onsite health and safety induction before commencing driving duties
- Represent yourself and Stoa professionally at the client depot at all times
What We're Looking For:
Must have:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- Proven flatbed and curtain side experience
- Clean or near-clean licence
- Comfortable with 04:00 - 06:00 starts and 12 - 15 hour shifts
Nice to have:
- Previous UK trunking or general haulage experience
