About Us

St Michael’s Hospice supports and enables the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss. Our services are provided via in-patient beds, at home, and we also offer wellbeing support, both out-patient and virtual. We aim to recruit a workforce that reflects our community and promote diversity and inclusion.

Role

Relationship Fundraiser – a confident communicator with strong business acumen, responsible for developing relationships, partnerships and opportunities across a wide portfolio of income generation streams, including business partnerships, major donors and supporters. The role is full time, but part time hours may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture relationships with potential donors and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities across multiple streams.
  • Collaborate with fundraising team to plan and execute campaigns.
  • Track fundraising targets and report progress to management.
  • Represent the hospice at external events and in community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, preferably in charity or non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining donor relationships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to manage budgets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
