Use your legal training to solve real commercial and tax‑related problems in a non‑practising environment. Our Tax teams work with organisations to interpret complex legislation, respond to regulatory change, support transactions, manage disputes and strengthen governance. You could be applying legal analysis to tax matters, researching legislation for business decisions, supporting due diligence on transactions or helping clients understand their regulatory obligations. This pathway is suited to law graduates who enjoy problem solving, structured thinking and applying legal reasoning in a commercial context, and who are interested in using their law degree beyond a traditional legal career.

About rolling intake: We run two rounds of recruitment: main intake (now closed) and rolling intake. We aim to fill as many of our roles as possible through the main intake but, of course, things change and new roles come up. Applying to the rolling intake means your application will be reviewed as a suitable role comes up (and it does happen!).

The work: Depending on your team, your work could include:

  • Researching and interpreting legislation and regulatory requirements, particularly in tax and dispute‑related matters
  • Supporting tax compliance, controversy and dispute resolution work through legal and regulatory analysis
  • Assisting with due diligence on transactions by identifying legal, tax and regulatory risks
  • Helping assess governance, risk and control frameworks that support compliance and transparency
  • Contributing legal insights to advisory, transformation or dispute‑related projects

Your work may span industries such as financial services, government, infrastructure, energy and technology, giving you exposure to a wide range of clients while building strong commercial, research and advisory skills.
