Role Purpose

STL (Sterlite Technologies Ltd) are continuing to grow rapidly and to support the next stage of our growth in the Europe we are recruiting for Young Talent as Graduate Trainee for Application Engineering Team for our Optical Interconnect (OI) business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Technical role involving Pre-Sales and Post Sales Activities.
  • Support Sales in the tech presentations, to create value propositions, field trials, customer approvals
  • Identify opportunities to co-develop solutions and transition a vendor relationship to a partner relationship
  • Provide market trends, market pricing, competitor intelligence to PLM
  • Provide inputs and coordinate with PLM / Solution Architects / R&D team to customize / develop solutions / products suited for the region.
  • Provides input to the PLM / sales specialist on product / customer / application requirement.
  • Work with the marketing teams to build region specific collaterals.
  • Creates case studies
  • Training and tech support

Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/ Materials, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Telecom Networks and Supplier Ecosystem, preferably in Optical Fiber and Optical Fiber Cable
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills.
