We are looking for an experienced Veritas Net Backup Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to implement and configure BMR backups on client site.
The candidate should have proven experience in setting up BMR infrastructure, configuring backups, troubleshooting issues, and validating recovery capabilities in Red Hat Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Veritas Net Backup Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) onsite.
- Set up BMR backup configurations for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
- Configure Net Backup BMR components, including BMR Master Server functionality and boot servers, as applicable.
- Configure backup policies and ensure successful capture of system recovery information.
- Perform BMR backup validation and recovery testing for RHEL servers.
- Troubleshoot Net Backup, BMR, and Red Hat Linux-related issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for successful implementation.
- Prepare implementation documentation and provide knowledge transfer.
