Description
A note before you apply: We're not actively hiring for this role today, but we're building relationships ahead of upcoming client work. If your background fits, we'd like to start a conversation now so we're ready to move when a project lands!
This role is offered on a fixed-term, contract-to-hire basis for an initially monthly term depending on project needs. At the end of the initial term, Stitch may, at its sole discretion, offer an extension, a permanent full-time position, or end the engagement. There is no guarantee of an extension or transition to permanent, full-time employment, and continued engagement or conversion is contingent on business need, budget, and individual performance.
Who We Are
Stitch is the global leader in helping brands drive CRM performance through Braze and Databricks. We work with Fortune 1000 brands to design and execute martech-driven solutions and lifecycle marketing strategies that drive meaningful outcomes. Our fast-growing team spans the US, UK, and Canada.
We’re actively building the best customer relationship marketing (CRM) consultancy in the world. Not the biggest—the best. We’re looking for teammates who are energized by this challenge.
The Role
As a Senior Solution Architect, you lead complex campaign orchestration and multi-channel engagement strategies from requirements through design, build, and handoff. You push the boundaries of what's possible within Braze—advanced Canvas flows, Connected Content, Liquid looping, advanced Catalogs—while also thinking about what the client needs next. You bring a point of view to every conversation, and collaborate with project managers to drive overall customer success. Campaign management is your core, but you're operating at a level where clients see you as a strategic advisor, not just a builder.
Who You Are
First and foremost, you're motivated by impact. To be the best CRM consultancy in the world, we have to be motivated by performance—both in how our work drives outcomes for our customers, and for how our work drives outcomes for Stitch.
This means you're not content with status quo—you're always looking towards what's next and seeking opportunities to grow yourself, grow our customers, and grow Stitch. You have relentless standards and uphold them unapologetically. You move nimbly, take ownership, drive things forward, and make the people around you better. If this sounds like you, you will thrive here.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end solution design for complex campaign management engagements: multi-channel Canvas orchestrations, advanced segmentation, lifecycle program architecture.
- Design and implement advanced Braze capabilities: Catalogs for dynamic content and translations, Connected Content, Liquid looping and conditional logic, Segment Extensions, Event Property Segmentation, In-App Games.
- Own data model design—custom attributes, events, purchase tracking—optimized for usability, performance, and scalability.
- Build and troubleshoot API integrations, webhook implementations, Data Transformations, and CDI connections.
- Lead requirements gathering and create solution design documentation including technical design charts. Generate end-user guides.
- Adapt Stitch's solutioning methodology to client constraints (timeline, tech debt, team capability) and document deviations.
- Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and onsite engagements.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Braze Certified Developer and Braze Certified Technical Marketing Expert, or demonstrable equivalent with ability to certify quickly.
- Advanced Braze mastery: Segment Extensions, Event Property Segmentation, Query Builder, Custom Reporting, In-App Games, Data Transformations, CDI, Message Extras, workspace and Team config, Tagging.
- Proficient Liquid: personalization, looping, object attribute segmentation, Connected Content calls, AI generator and personalization tools.
- JSON payload creation and modification for client use cases.
- API testing and troubleshooting through Postman and sample calls within Braze.
- SQL: SELECT and INSERT functions with various JOINs.
- SDK consulting: support client Web and Mobile SDK implementations with best practices and code samples.
- Solution Design and Documentation: user-facing and technical documentation.
- Ingestion methodology design for diverse client data landscapes.
- Comparative understanding of other MarTech platforms for ecosystem advisory.
How You Consult
At Senior, you're leading—not just executing. The way you communicate, challenge assumptions, and build client relationships is what transforms a strong technologist into a trusted advisor whose expertise helps clients solve their most important business problems.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business language. Lead client meetings—set agendas, drive decisions, summarize actions.
- Build relationships at multiple levels within client organizations. Become the person clients request by name.
- Bring a strong point of view and recommendations—not just options. Anticipate what the client needs before they ask.
- Solve non-standard problems creatively. Manage scope with confidence—redirect without damaging relationships.
- Push back professionally when a client's request won't serve their goals. Model quality for the team.
- Own outcomes, not just tasks. Lead without being asked.
Tools You'll Use
- Braze (advanced configuration across all features).
- Postman for API testing and documentation.
- LucidChart for data flow and solution design documentation.
- Visual Studio Code / Cursor for code samples (API, SQL, Liquid).
- Data warehouse understanding for CDI configuration.
- ClickUp for project and task management.
Qualifications
- 5–9 years of marketing technology consulting experience or applicable experience in customer engagement.
- Significant experience with customer engagement or marketing automation platforms. Braze experience is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing solution design and requirements gathering.
- Client-facing experience within an agency or consultancy with experience managing relationships at multiple levels.
- Hands-on experience with integration tools is a plus (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
- Passion for AI/ML applications in marketing.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without requiring employer visa sponsorship, both presently and in the future.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401k with company match
- Flexible PTO policy
- Monthly tech stipend
- Paid parental leave
- Mental well-being support
