Stirrups is currently looking to recruit aFull Time Receptionistto join our young, fun office team.This newly created position is to ensure we are ready to continue the growth we have seen over the past year!
Job Description
This role is not a boring one! Itβs a diverse customer facing role and it isnβt just about checking guests in and out β though thatβs important too! You could be taking bookings for our Bedrooms, Restaurant, Pods or Cabanas, dealing with any queries or guest special requests, recommending the best places to visit nearby to those visiting, liaising with Management to help pull together function paperwork, ensuring all our guests have the most fabulous welcome, stay and departure and so much more!
On Site one to one training will be provided to ensure you feel super comfortable in all areas of the role.
The role requires a candidate that has the following attributes:

β Ability to listen and respond to Guest needs to make sure they have the very best time at our Hotel
β Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
β Accountable and resilient
β Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks on those busy days!
We are offering a competitive salary (based on age and experience) plus share of tips & uniform & 30% discount across the entire hotels offering.
Skills Requirements
Competent on Microsoft Word & Excel ideal
Good typing and communication skills
Experience in a similar position and a previous user of Rezlynx PMS would be preferred but not vital β everything can be learnt from scratch!
Please note: As we are not regularly supplied by public transport, a car would be best.
Hours of work
Rotas will be on a shift basis to include the following shifts
β Early β 7am β 3.30pm
β Late β 2:30pm β 11:00pm
β No Split Shifts β The role does require you to be able to work weekends, bank holidays,Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Yearβs Eve & New Yearβs Day.
Rate of Pay: up to Β£26,000 + share of tips.
