Facilities Technician. Telford. Up to £40,000 (DOE). 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. Benefits: On site canteen. Life Assurance. On site parking. Overtime available. We are looking to recruit a Facilities Technician, who will be responsible for optimising property conditions. This will include ensuring the highest level of health and safety is adhered to whilst providing 1st fix to basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorating needs. Responsibilities of the Facilities Technician: Provide maintenance solutions to infrastructure, facilities and building. Ensure all areas are up to audit standards. Look for ways to improve current practices and processes. Diagnose and repair faults such as domestic water, sanitation systems and basic single and three phase electrical installations. Keep the company CMMS system up to date by accurately inputting remedial work and booking of parts. Support the hygiene team by removing, replacing and installing guards to aid in the cleaning. Complete planned preventative maintenance such as checking colling systems, greasing bearings, monitor of water levels and usage. Work on root cause analysis with relevant teams on site. Adhere to the highest health and safety standards, ensuring all compulsory PPE is worn within the work areas. What we are looking for in the Facilities Technician: Experience and a history of maintaining equipment within a utilities or services environment. Skilled in a variety of building maintenance.
