Electrical Engineer. Ormskirk – West Lancashire Up to £60,000 depending on experience. Benefits: Private healthcare plan. Free onsite parking. Onsite canteen. Flexible working. We are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to work within our clients architectural engineering department. The services provided will cover all aspects of the project from initial feasibility through to installation and commissioning. Projects can and will vary from major overhauls through to the build of new factories. This role will include travel consisting of short design trips, as well as time supervising the installation and commissioning phases which can be up to 6 weeks. Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer: Develop full electrical system designs in conjunction with other engineering disciplines. Prepare the technical specifications for installation of power systems. This will include the creation of single line diagrams, wiring schedule, loop drawings and cable schedules. Prepare and manage the electrical loading lists. Manage the preparation of design deliverables. Such as control panel design packages, installation and cabling design, and test specifications. Take the lead for the technical aspect of equipment procurement and the tender of installation contracts. Prepare and complete all commissioning documentation, whilst managing the onsite installation meeting the safety, quality and timeframe objectives. Provide support for electrical and control related queries post installation. What we are looking for in the Electrical Engineer: Experience designing LV and MV systems, MCC and Control Panels. Experience with onsite commissioning and factory acceptance testing. Project cost management. An excellent ability to work under pressure to tight timescales.
