We are currently working with a well established UK engineering and manufacturing business who are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their busy engineering team in Dronfield.

The Role
This is a hands on position within the tool room, responsible for the manufacture, repair, and maintenance of precision tools, jigs, fixtures, and components. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping production operations running smoothly by delivering high quality engineering work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and sharpen tooling, jigs, and fixtures
- Inspect parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Work from engineering drawings, sketches, or instructions to manufacture components
- Manage workload independently to meet deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience operating manual lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders
- CNC machining experience, ideally with Fanuc and Prototrak controls
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
