Location: Rotherham (Mobile UK Travel, occasional overnights in Ireland, Scotland, and South of England)

CNC Service Engineer
We are seeking a, electrically biased CNC Service Engineer with a strong background in machine tool servicing. This is a mobile role, providing on-site support to high-profile clients across the UK, with regular travel and some overnight stays required.
The role is ideal for an engineer with proven CNC electrical maintenance expertise who is confident with parameters, panels, relays, and ideally PLCs.
CNC Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair CNC machines at client sites across the UK.
- Modify CNC machine parameters via the interface.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults, including work on panels and relays.
- Provide technical support and breakdown response to minimise downtime.
- Complete reports, documentation, and customer updates following service visits.
- Occasionally travel further afield (Ireland, Scotland, South of England).
CNC Service Engineer Experience:
Essential:
- Strong experience electrically maintaining CNC machines.
- Machine tool service background.
- Comfortable working with panels, relays, and interfaces.
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight when required.
Desirable:
- PLC experience.
- 18th Edition not essential, but electrical competence is key.
- Previous experience in customer-facing service engineer roles.
