As a HSE Coordinator, you\’ll play a vital role in maintaining the business’s statutory safety compliance in line with current legislation. You will be an integral part of the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) department, helping to foster a culture of safety across all levels of the business. Supporting the implementation of an effective safety management system. Managing PPE control and reordering to ensure the safety of all staff. Leading monthly Health and Safety Committee meetings, driving discussions, and promoting safety across the organisation. Conducting risk assessments and supporting departments in creating Safe Systems of Work. Running site inductions for new starters and contractors, ensuring all staff are aware of the safety standards. Supporting routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance. Organising external safety training to continuously upskill employees. Playing a key role in reducing and eliminating reported safety observations, near misses, and incidents. Managing contractor safety processes and helping with waste management and statutory document control. Ensure all safety and environmental impact concerns have been reported. NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards it). Knowledge of chemicals and hazardous substances. Experience in auditing safety standards.
