We are a privately owned business with huge growth ambitions. Over the decades, we have grown a very successful multi-million‐pound business that specialises in building materials. As a business, we have multiple routes to market, all of which have excellent brand recognition.
The role of National Sales Manager – merchants and buying groups is part of our growth plan to increase our market share and to expand our multiple routes to market.
The focus of the role will be to identify all buying groups and independent merchants that would benefit from stocking our products. You will devise a business plan to assess the market and enter into an agreement with the correct buying groups and merchants. You will map out all the independents that are not part of buying groups and create an approach.
You will manage an existing team and add to this team over the coming months. The current team is stable but will need someone who can help them change direction and become more commercially focused.
