Maintenance Engineer in Banbury, Oxfordshire

Salary: £44,000

Working Hours: Double Days (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm) with Flexible Hours!

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our team of 4 in maintenance at our manufacturing facility in Banbury. We are a manufacturer of high-quality household products with a turnover well in excess of £50m, heavily investing back into our engineering team with extensive internal and external training available.

Your roles and responsibilities will include day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance of mainly injection moulding machinery (Engel). We have 19 moulding machines on site, most of which are new machines ranging between 150t - 2300t.

The Successful Engineer:

  • Prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer within a manufacturing environment is essential for this role
  • Experience repairing and maintaining injection moulding machines is preferable, though engineers with a strong knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics are also encouraged to apply
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical fault finding, ideally up to PLC
