A hands-on opportunity for a CNC Turner Programmer to support the efficient running of multi-spindle CNC lathes within a busy machining environment. This role focuses on machine performance, quality output, and supporting new product introduction.

CNC Turner Programmer Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate and Program Star CNC sliding head lathes to meet production targets
  • Carry out job changeovers, tool setting, and tool changes efficiently
  • Perform inspections and liaise with Quality for approvals
  • Assist with minor breakdowns and troubleshooting on machines

CNC Turner Programmer Experience:

  • Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes (sliding head preferred)
  • Experience with Star CNC machines advantageous
  • Knowledge of HAAS or Duggard machining centres beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
