Project Engineer – Electrical Controls Nottingham Permanent Circa £60,000 Role Responsibilities As a Project Engineer with extensive experience within electrical design utilising SCADA and PLC Systems, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions from cradle to grave projects across various industries In this client facing role you will be at the centre of everything from initial client contact to scope out the projects through design, production, test commission and delivery, this Project Engineers role is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a business at an exciting time as they grow with an ever expanding client base As a Project Engineer your responsibilities will include: Understanding the clients requirements and presenting a tailored solution Produce and design the proposed solutions including Communications Networks, PLC and SCADA systems and Hardware Create flow charts, process diagrams and state diagrams to describe the proposed solution Ensure all works and documentations are inline and scope of the project with particular focus on compliance to industry and safety standards Source and negotiate on hardware to ensure best price within budget models Ensure all hardware being produce internally or externally is correct and fit for purpose for the lifespan of the end project Create and modify PLC, HMI and SCADA software Create test arrangements within the workshop as well as Factory Test Specification Arrange and co-ordinate site installation including creating RAMS, Method Statements Undertake site testing, supervise contractors on site Required Skills Experience It is expected the successful will be degree qualified within electrical or electronics engineering A successful track record of delivering cradle to grave project experience in a similar role Be an expert in system design including PLC’s, SCADA, HMI and communications networks (Fibre, Ethernet, Serial etc) An excellent communicator, verbally and written to engage with internal and external stakeholders This is an exciting role which combines all aspects of every part of the process if this is something that you would be interested in click apply and we can discuss it in more details or email
