Are you looking for a new opportunity to work with a growing company with future development opportunities? I am currently working with an excellent business who work within the green energy sector who are currently looking for a new person to join their projects team. Working through projects from concept, manufacturing through to delivery including installation, this is a wide ranging role which will give you variety and diversity which is sometimes lacking in day to day jobs.
What you will be doing:
- Delivering projects from manufacture to installation within material handling.
- Modelling and detailing products before release to the shop floor for manufacturing.
- Creating and releasing BOMs.
- Producing and maintaining technical documents.
- Working with the sales team during the tender process.
- Producing arrangement drawings and layouts.
- Ensuring design quality, cost, time and standards are considered throughout the delivery process.
- Attending and assisting on site as necessary, attending client meetings as and when required.
- Managing project budget and costs.
- Ensuring all works are adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
Skills Experience:
- Qualified to a reasonable level (HNC in mechanical/manufacturing) or proven work experience.
- Have proven experience as a Project Engineer within a similar industry.
- Proven experience of working within the sheet metal fabrication and material handling industry.
- Proficient with design software (Autocad, Solidworks etc).
- Ability to work in an efficient, organised manner and under pressure.
- Excellent communicator both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to plan delivery and installation of equipment.
