We are looking for a hands-on maintenance team leader with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our world class manufacturing facility in Coventry. We have over 30 sites globally and turnover £500 million per year.
We have achieved this in just over 50 years of being in business and have further plans to expand coming up over the next couple of years. Our environment is one of the cleanest in the industry with high standards across the site in regard to health and safety and promoting a safe working environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Hands on maintenance team leader role, roughly 80% hands on, 20% hands off work on a day to day basis
- Leading a team of 3 shift engineers directly reporting into you
- Delegating work across the shift and ensuring organisational efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Ordering spares, filing shift reports, contractor management
The Successful Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a multi skilled maintenance engineer
- Ideally prior experience within an FMCG environment
- Previous experience as a lead engineer/senior engineer, shift leader or supervisor/team leader
- Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not a dealbreaker
