We are a well-known and established Lift Service, Installation and Repair company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover the Bristol and South Wales.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Lift Service Engineer:

  • Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and minor repairs on lift and escalator equipment.
  • Perform breakdown checks, diagnose faults, and restore equipment to service.
  • Inspect lift functions including speed, load, noise, power supply, and safety systems.
  • Adjust and reinstate equipment using approved tools and procedures.
  • Complete all service documentation accurately.
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics using technical manuals and test equipment.
  • Carry out site surveys and attend ongoing technical training.
  • Work safely and adhere to all regulations and company procedures.
  • Support safety objectives by monitoring systems and implementing improvements.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours maintenance and repairs.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in lift or escalator servicing, maintenance, or repairs (preferred).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift/Escalator Maintenance or equivalent mechanical/electrical qualification.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, including multi-brand equipment.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Good communication skills with customers, leaders, and inspectors.
  • Manual dexterity and confidence using hand and power tools.
  • Good administration, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
