Are you looking for a new design role to work with a growing company within green industries with future development opportunities? I am currently working with an excellent business in the green energy sector who are looking for a new person to join their design team.
What you will be doing:
- Producing detailed manufacturing drawings of systems, products and layouts from 3D models (fabrication and assembly drawings including BOMs)
- Ensuring all drawing quality and continuity are up to company standards
- Making sure all drawing libraries and parts databases are up to date
- Working closely with the manufacturing department to ensure parts are manufactured to spec and to overcome manufacturing problems
- Issuing all drawings and BOMs for manufacture through ERP system
Skills Experience:
- Qualified to a reasonable level (HNC in mechanical/manufacturing) or proven work experience
- Experience as a Draughtsperson / Design Engineer (2D and 3D) within a sheet metal fabrication industry
- Experience in Structural Steel fabrication / Material Handling Structures
- Experience of working with Solidworks and/or Autocad
- Experience of working with ERP systems
- Excellent IT Skills
- Ability to produce under pressure
