We are working with a leading food manufacturer who are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their flagship site in Nottingham. You will be leading a team of 20 engineers, reporting to the engineering manager. There is scope with this role to progress to the Engineering Manager position as the company grows and develops.
You will oversee maintenance operations, drive continuous improvement, ensuring production downtime and plant reliability are managed. In this role, you will make safe and informed decisions where you will be given the responsibility to deliver results within the maintenance strategy. As the Maintenance Manager, you will need to be confident and assertive as you will be the decision maker in a large number of maintenance activities.
There are lots of exciting plans taking place at the business, one including a brand new £5m line being implemented into the factory to create a new product.
The Successful Candidate:
- Maintenance Manager with FMCG or food manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 3 years as a Maintenance Manager
- Prior experience leading projects, managing budgets, contractor management, implementation of CapEx, health and safety management
