A well-established manufacturing business in Daventry is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to its Power Systems operation. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week on a three-shift rotating pattern.

The Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fault finding and repair of plant and machinery, including automated production lines, nut runners and test cells
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to schedule
  • Fast response to breakdowns and production issues
  • Robotic loading/unloading cells
  • Pick-and-place systems
  • Gearboxes, bearings, chains and belts
  • Pumps, valves and actuators
  • Control panels, MCCs and motor drives
  • Inverters, VFDs and servo drives

About You:

To be considered, you'll need:

  • A recognised apprenticeship (time-served electrician or mechanical fitter)
  • Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Background working on automated manufacturing lines
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs (advantageous, not essential)
