A great opportunity to join a team working within the aerospace and motorsport sectors as a CNC Milling Machinist. You will play a key role in proving out new products and batch work while ensuring exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

CNC Milling Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate 5-axis CNC machines for new product development and batch production
  • Create and edit programs using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth) and/or Heidenhain controls
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Prove out complex parts engineered offline
  • Quality measuring devices experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Perform routine maintenance to optimise machine performance
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and enhance product quality

CNC Milling Machinist Experience:

  • Level 3 machining qualification
  • Minimum five years experience machining complex components
  • Skilled with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol (offline programming experience welcome)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
