A great opportunity to join a team working within the aerospace and motorsport sectors as a CNC Milling Machinist. You will play a key role in proving out new products and batch work while ensuring exceptional accuracy and efficiency.
CNC Milling Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set and operate 5-axis CNC machines for new product development and batch production
- Create and edit programs using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth) and/or Heidenhain controls
- Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
- Prove out complex parts engineered offline
- Quality measuring devices experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine maintenance to optimise machine performance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and enhance product quality
CNC Milling Machinist Experience:
- Level 3 machining qualification
- Minimum five years experience machining complex components
- Skilled with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol (offline programming experience welcome)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
