Role: Maintenance Engineer

Days: 6-3 or 9-6

Salary: £45K - £60K DOE

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

We are working with an industry leading waste and recycling company seeking a dynamic and experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. The role is hands-on and is pivotal in driving their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes and valves
  • Diagnosing faults - Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and process related issues to ensure optimal plant performance
  • Oversee plant commissioning and development providing technical support and guidance
  • Repairing plant and equipment
  • Introduce and implement new technologies and treatments to enhance operations
  • Create maintenance procedures
  • Manage stocks and supplies
  • Prepare weekly reports
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation
  • Obtain specialist components and equipment as required
  • Respond to breakdowns where required

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Experience in waste-to-energy, recycling or anaerobic digestion
  • A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and process engineering principles
