Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repairs across automated systems
- Maintain conveyors, automated storage systems, motors, sensors, control panels and packaging equipment
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime
- Support equipment installations and commissioning
- Assist with machinery upgrades and site expansion projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Follow site health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
- Work closely with production teams and engineering colleagues
- Provide technical support during breakdowns and operational challenges
About You:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing, food production, cold storage, or automated environment
- Multi-skilled engineer, ideally with strong electrical bias
- Experience with 3-phase systems, PLC-controlled equipment and automation preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to work safely at height when required
