The Role
We are looking for an ambitious individual to come in and manage incoming quote requests, and to determine the potential with each and produce commercially viable options. You’ll be providing competitive quotations to regional and national housebuilders, hotel chains and bathroom pod customers to name a few.
You’ll work alongside three other estimators, support and mentor where needed, and collaborate closely with the Head of Contracts and wider sales team on larger projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure information gathered to produce quotations is accurate and commercially viable
- Understand customer requirements to ensure accurate cost estimations
- Identify potential risks and opportunities associated within projects and tendors and factor them into contract support quotations
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within construction or KBB
- Strong commercial acumen – this is not a “price list” role; we need someone who can think strategically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Someone who is positive and ambitious
