The CNC Production Engineer Technician will support new product introduction and production processes for components within the Motorsport and Defence sectors.
CNC Production Engineering Technician Responsibilities:
- Create CNC programs for 5 Axis Milling Centres
- Set up and support first-article and initial sample runs
- Optimise tooling performance for cast iron and aluminium components
- Conduct first off inspections and support ISIR/PPAP requirements
- Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, and process instability
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve non-conformances and improve processes
CNC Production Engineering Technician Essentials:
- Experience with 5-axis CNC machining centres
- Hands-on experience Offline programming (Ideally Hypermill)
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
