Day Shift – Permanent
Do you have experience working within precision machining and high-quality solutions, from either aerospace or subcontracting industries? Are you looking for experienced hands-on supervisors with knowledge in milling to deliver critical work to a variety of clients and suppliers?
What you will be doing:
- Operating and setting up CNC Milling machines
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls
- Daily maintenance and inspections on machinery
- Ensure all work completed on shop floor
- Working within a team to support orders
- Minimising downtime and monitoring productivity
- Assisting with continuous improvement
- Working with all departments for shift changeover
Skills Experience:
- Proven CNC experience
- Knowledge ideally with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens but not essential
- Able to use measuring equipment for quality checking
- Capable of supervising a busy shop floor and meeting targets
- CAD software experience for offline programming
- Able to follow health and safety
- Able to read engineering drawings
